From Director’s Desk

The College was established in year 2004 and 19 years hence we have came a long distance. Since the first batch passed out in 2007, we have at least 180 reasons to celebrate every passing year thereafter. It’s important that you celebrate all of your milestones and major accomplishments. Celebration  gives us a sense of achievement, and it’s a great way of rewarding ourselves for a job well done.

The legal education is a tool of social designing and means to produce lawyers. It lays down the framework demarcating fundamental penal and civil code and sets out positive and negative law to be followed within ambit of due process of law. It provides an opportunity to understand how law and the legal process protect our liberty, strive to achieve justice, and contribute to the natural freedoms entailed by birth. The common man’s belief that “justice prevails” is inculcated in mind of every individual who succumbs to corruption and disrespect in the regime of law and judiciary over the decades gets its energy from the provisions of legal education.

In my personal opinion, legal education is the foundation of legal profession and is essential for access to justice through proper representation of ambassadors of justice. The welfare of the people or the public is the paramount law can only be made through proper degree of Law. Legal education encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for analyzing complex legal issues and making informed decisions not only in the matter in context but comprehensively also. I would like to quote Justice Krishna Iyer, “Profession of law is a noble calling and the members of legal professions occupy a very high status”. The opportunities for bright law graduates are enormous and we are playing the massive role to improve the standards and exploring the changes of legal education since two decades in Varanasi.
